The Annual Vocational Skills Competition has been settled down. Skills winners of each type of vocation in competition have come out. In 2010, Yuchai Group has made several breakthroughs in all-levels vocational skills competition its ranking in national vocational skills competition has improved and for the first time being top 9. The First Guangxi Foundry Man Skills Competition undertaken by Yuchai Group has also gained huge success. The events of vocational skills competition held by Yuchai Group are the most with the widest coverage over the years.

On November 9, in order to award the progressives, Yuchai Group held Commendation Conference of 2010 Vocational Skills Competition and grandly awarded Yuchai winners of all-levels competition such as The 6th Reviving Cup National Youth Vocational Skills Competition, Guangxi Yuchai Cup Foundry Man Skills Competition, Yuchai Group 2010 Vocational Skills Competition and so on. Zhang Jiasha, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Yuchai Group, Guo Deming, Secretary General of the Council of Yuchai Group, Rao Yingxian, Union President of Yuchai Group and other related members of each departments of Yuchai Group attended the commendation conference. Wan Shenglan, Director of Training Center made a report in the conference to summarize the effectiveness of 2010 Yucahi Group Vocational Skills Competition. Wan Shenglan pointed out, they had made unprecedented achievements in 2010 Vocational Skills Competition which has been lasted for more than 5 months. Their specific performances were that they gained the three most, the three boom, and the three breakthroughs. The three most refers to that the organized types of vocation for competition are the most; participating departments are the most as well as the competitors. In this competition, there are 12 types of vocation, 22 department teams and almost 500 competitors. Some types of vocation, such as teaching skills is the first time become a competition event. There are several good phenomena in the competition such as an increasing participating enthusiasm of every department, training teachers and personnel. The foundry gives an active assistant to undertake The First Yuchai Cup Foundry Man Skills Competition which is of relatively high level across the country. The 10 competitors from Yuchai have a fully victory and win the first and the second prizes. Yuchai also sends Zhang Xuebin and 2 other competitors to take part in The 6th Reviving Cup National Youth Vocational Skills Competition. They are the top 12 players among all the competitors. With the efforts of the training center and every department of Yuchai, several remarkable achievements are realized in 2010 Vocational Skills Competition such as the largest scale of competition, an increase of initial types of vocation for competition, a large advance of ranking in national competition, a qualitative leap of the training effectiveness, an outstanding improvement of competitors overall strength and so on.

The fitters of machine repair, Zhang Xuebin and Cheng TangBiao won the 9th and 12th prize in The 6th Reviving Cup National Vocational Skills Competition. Mo Yugen won the first prize in Guangxi Yuchai Cup Foundry Man Skills Competition. They presented flowers and expressed their gratefulness to their masters Cheng Jinyuan, Lin Yonxian and Chen Caikun respectively.

Zhang Jiasha extended warm congratulations to the winners who have achieved good results and sincere thanks to the competitors and competition staff. At the same time, she also put forward several requirements. She hoped that the competitors would be modest and prudent, learn to share knowledge and have a good fulfillment of mentoring. Each unit should also actively establish a platform for the personnels exercise and improvement and make contributions to improve the level of Yuchais overall technical strength.

In March of this year, Yuchai heavily awarded high skilled talents with one million yuan -such a huge sum of money. Yan Ping, Chairman of the Board of Yuchai Group, speaks highly of the high skilled talents who have made remarkable contributions to foster Yuchais core competitiveness.

Besides receiving the competition awards, the winners will also get another award which is issued by Yuchai Group according to its Honor Awards System. The highest individual money award can be as high as 20000 Yuan.
