"Yuchai has made a great contribution to the development of Chinese fishing vessels. We hope to cement cooperation with Yuchai to drive the development of China's fishery through industrialization." On the afternoon of December 1, Liu Zheng, director general of the National Bureau of Fishing Vessel Inspection (NBFVI) and Peng Fubin, director general of the Guangxi Bureau of Fishing Port Supervision and Fishing Vessel Inspection visited Yuchai and pinned great hope on Yuchai.

As a shipbuilding power in the world, China has grown rapidly in recent years. 90% of the ships made in China are fishing vessels. Ships are the key to fishery development and power is the core of ships. Liu first thanked Yuchai for its outstanding contributions to the development of China's fishery over the years, saying that Yuchai had kept providing quality diesel engines for the development of China's fishery as the enterprise with the greatest number of diesel engines possessed in China, hoping that Yuchai would proceed with ship R & D, get close to fishermen and drive fishery development through industrialization. NBFVI has actively carried out work of serving fishermen and enhancing fishery development such as "Sunshine Project" in recent years, and needs to cement cooperation with Yuchai to spread advanced technologies and concepts more effectively and extensively.

For years, Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. has actively developed a wide spectrum of marine electric products and provided quality engines to fishermen and other marine electric customers. General Manager Li Tiansheng said that Yuchai was willing to share the corporate achievements with all walks of life in cooperation with departments at all levels. The proportion of production and sales of Yuchai's marine electric products to that of engines will surge at the end of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan. Yuchai hopes to take this opportunity to offer a wider range of services to fishery development in China.
