With the New Year around the corner, to ensure the travel safety of citizens during the Spring Festival, the passenger transport companies in Qinghai have successively added 140 small and large-sized new vehicles. In the new vehicle bid, Yuchai made a clean sweep with orders of 140 engines, of which the order of 48 YC6L330 engines and the order of two YC6M375 engines were of great importance to Yuchai, showed its overwhelming strength in the coach market, and indicated the fast rise of Yuchai heavy engines in Qinghai.

Since Qinghai introduced National III emission standards to the coach field in 2009, Yuchai has drawn increasing attention in the local coach market by the sound National III product system and stable product quality, with the number of National III coaches with Yuchai engines soaring. The 700 engines in Qinghai have been working in good condition, winning extensive praise from customers and distributors.

YC6L is an efficient professional engine targeting road coaches, touring coaches and public buses ranging from 11 meters to 13.7 meters in length, which combines the latest European technologies-advanced four-valve technology, wet cylinder liner high support technology and lightweight manufacturing technology, and strictly follows the mechanical procedures of FEV, Germany. Its superiorities, such as high efficiency, fuel conservation, low noise and environment friendliness, have been qualified through market validation in recent years. Based on further surveys and understanding of YC6L, the customers finally chose Yuchai, thus boosting the orders of the model.

Most of the new vehicles purchased by the passenger transport companies this time were manufactured by Yutong, Xiamen Golden Dragon and Suzhou Kinglong, and will be put into operation on long-distance lines linking Qinghai to cities like Beijing, Xian, Changsha, Wuhan, Yushu, Golmud and Tibet.

Upon the strength of stable performance, the massive entry of Yuchai high-power coach engines into the long-distance passenger transport field in Qinghai will boost Yuchais popularity and influence in northwest China, and further consolidate Yuchais lead in the coach field in Qinghai.
