Recently, Yuchai Huayuan Machinery (Yulin) Co., Ltd. won the Eco-friendly and Energy-saving Product Award 2010 from the Material Work Committee of China Urban Public Transport Association.

The filters manufactured by Huayuan are indispensible protective parts of automotive engines as well as eco-friendly products critical to raising the emission standards of automotive engines. With the implementation of the national emission laws and regulations, filters have furthered the progress in the eco-friendly and energy-saving technology of engines. In 2010, through the technical R & D platform of Yuchai, in strong combination with Yuchai Engineering Research Institute, Huayuan kept working out and revising new product standards and test standards, and developed over ten types of Euro III and IV filters.

In 2011, Huayuan will conduct the technical renovation of plastic air filter casings and plastic end cover filter elements. The project is of positive and far-reaching significance to increasing the overall technical level of Yuchai engines and sharpening the overall competitiveness of Yuchai and Huayuan, and will set a good example to the filter industry.
