From December 18 to 19, the 8th China Professional Managers Forum, sponsored by the China Industrial Cooperation Association, CCPIT Commercial Sub-council and China International Registered Manager Association, was held in beautiful Nanning. The forum presented the honorary plaques to the prizewinning entrepreneurs and professional managers. Yuchai Chairman Yan Ping and President Gu Tangsheng ranked among and Chinese Meritorious Entrepreneurs, Chinas Top 10 Professional Managers respectively.

With the theme of Bosom and Mission of Professional Managers, the forum probed into the issues on fulfilling the sprit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Committee, actively adjusting the industrial structure, increasing the capacity for independent innovation, implementing the strategy of strengthening the nation through talents, and promoting the learning and exchanges between professional managers from around the country. Guo Deming, secretary general of the council of Yuchai Group, introduced Yuchais development, saying under the leadership of the Yan-centered business body, with the core concept of Green Development & Harmony Win-win, Yuchai achieved sales of over RMB 30 billion in 2010, accomplishing the harmony of the enterprise, environment and society. All the constructors of Yuchai are forging ahead towards the sales of RMB 100 billion by 2015.

At the forum, the attendees had discussions about the issues on the morality, responsibility, mission and harmonious management of professional managers. Most agreed that professional managers should be devoted to their business and profession and loyal to enterprises, accommodate the interests of the nation, enterprises, staff and individuals, aim to maximize social efficiency and corporate benefit, enhance their management capacity and professional competency, contribute to corporate prosperity, and make unremitting efforts to build corporate core competitiveness and create more international brands.

Professional managers are a new stratum emerging from Chinas economic construction over the two decades, who are valued as Chinas scarcest human capital and an indispensible nucleus of Chinas economic construction. Improvements in the career goals, enterprising spirit, sense of responsibility, sense of mission, comprehensive quality and other aspects of theirs will definitely boost Chinas corporate development and economic construction.
