1st excavator offline at YHI east base

On the morning of December 20, the east base of Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) held the ceremony for the release of the first excavator. As brand-new YC210LC-8 approached slowly, the plant burst into applause and cheer. The excavators successful release opened a new page for YHIs development. Zhang Shiyong, chairman of Yuchai Heavy Industry (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. and Yuchai Piling (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. and General Manager Tang Xiangyang spoke at the ceremony, and base leaders such as Lu Jian, Chen Bin and Zhang Xiaoliang were present.

Tang reported the progress of base construction on behalf of the bases leading body, encouraging all the staff to continue to carry forward the vigor and courage they had displayed in base construction to finish the production task next year at a dash and make a due contribution to the corporate twelfth five-year strategic plan.

On behalf of the business team of YHI, Zhang extended heartfelt thanks to all the base constructors for their unremitting efforts, analyzed the bases position in Yuchais development strategy, recognized the bases achievements in such aspects as base construction, manufacture, R & D and management in 2010, noted that the year 2011 would remain to be positioned as a year of foundation building and the company would inject more vitality into base construction, and called on all the staff to forge ahead against all odds for sustained success!

The year 2010, an extraordinary year for YHI, saw the release of the 50,000th excavator. In 2010, YHI basically completed the strategic layout of eastward, westward and northward extension and achieved sales of over RMB 2 billion. These achievements are attributable to the unremitting efforts of YHI staff.
