Foundry center Phase I creates "yuchai Speed"

On March 12, Phase I of Yuchai Foundry Center went into production, three days ahead of the date proposed by Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. and universally deemed to be "impossible". The project lasted 390 days only, over 200 days ahead of schedule, and created "yuchai Speed" in project construction.

Yuchai and CSR join hands to build west engine R & D and manufacturing base

On April 21, the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation framework agreement between Yuchai and CSR was held. Under the agreement, the two sides proposed to establish a cooperative enterprise in Ziyang, Sichuan to jointly advance the fast development of the engine industry, and endeavor to build it into a major engine R & D and manufacturing base with annual sales of over RMB 10 billion in the west of China in three two five years.

YHI east base construction launched

 YHI releases 50,000th hydraulic excavator as China's first enterprise with a single-plant annual output of over 10,000 excavators

On October 23, the 50,000th hydraulic excavator of Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) ran offline at Yulin manufacturing base. In the meantime, 12 new products were released. The emergence of these new products has not only accomplished the horizontal extension of YHI's product varieties, but also diversified YHI's product brands, laying a solid foundation for YHI's product plan of "vertical development and horizontal extension". In 2010, YHI made a breakthrough in production and became China's first enterprise with a single-plant annual output of over 10,000 excavators, marking the initiation of the massive competition between Chinese national brands and foreign brands in the excavator area.

Yuchai fulfills annual objective 2 months earlier, YM annual engine sales top 500,000 units

By October 31, Yuchai had achieved sales of RMB 30.498 billion, up 33.79% year on year, fulfilling the annual business objective of RMB 30 billion two months earlier.

The engine sector performed brilliantly. By November 24, Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) had achieved sales of over 500,000 engines in 2010, up 14% year on year. This was the first time that YM's annual engine sales had topped over 500,000 engines, fulfilling its annual marketing objective of "maintaining 500,000 units" in advance.

Beijing buses with Yuchai National V engines go into operation

On October 26, the domestic first batch of 50 new buses with National V engines independently developed by Yuchai went into operation at Beijing Bafangda Public Transport Tongzhou Co., Ltd., marking that the National V engines independently developed by Yuchai have gone on the market. Also, these engines are the first batch of National V engines put into volume operation in China.

C & C, YUP join hands for product launch

On December 18, C & C joined hands with Yuchai United Power (YUP) for the brand release and product launch ceremony in Wuhu, Anhui. At 11 a.m., C & C flagship model U460, equipped with YUP 6K12 engine, ran slowly off the assembly line of the C & C plant, kicking off the model's launch at a price of RMB 688,000.
