The Yuchai engine for vehicles during the two games include series such as National III and IV gas engines, diesel engines and hybrid engine, types such as ECI system gas engine, Woodward system gas engine, Bosch high-pressure common-rail diesel engine, Delphi high-pressure common-rail diesel engine, Delphi monoblock pump diesel engine and YCHPT hybrid assembly system, and tens of models such as YC6G, YC4G, YC6J, YC6L and YC4F. Over 8,000 gas engines were used, accounting for over 90%.

A Games bus with Yuchai engine

Yuchai used leading and reliable new engine technologies in volume for the first time at the Guangzhou Asian Games. Over 110 hybrid engines were put to use in volume for the first time in Guangzhou. During the Asian Para Games, Yuchai National IV gas engines were used on barrier-free buses in volume for the first time and went into operation right before the opening of the Games, making support more difficult.

Yuchai engines have become the preferred engines for the new vehicles input in Guangzhou. Zhang Ting, commander in chief of Games support and deputy general manager of Yuchai Sales Co., Ltd.; Huang Weibin, assistant to general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. in charge of Games support; and Gong Zhihua, chief controller of Games support followed up in the full process, commanded on the scene and led Yuchai support team in offering quality support services for Games vehicles.

Yuchai customers: praise, loyalty, trust

Guangzhous bus market, especially public transport market, put full trust in Yuchai, and spoke highly of the performance of Yuchai engines during the Games.

According to Huang Liujiu, service manager of Yutong Guangdong, over 5,000 of the Yutong vehicles for the Games were equipped with Yuchai engines, accounting for about 80%. He considered the reason for choosing Yuchai engines to be simple, Yuchai quality and services are assuring.?
