In late 2010, good news came from 2010 Guangxi Review Conference on Achievements in Modification of Advanced Processes and Tools and Outstanding Equipment in Heavy Industry held by Guangxi Commission of Industry and Information Technology that all the 41 achievements in modification of advanced processes and tools as well as outstanding equipment declared by Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) had won Guangxi process and tool achievement awards, the best  results Yuchai had ever achieved since the launch of the awards.

Of the 41 awarded achievements, ten projects, including the development of the non-die fast casting technology based on SLS rapid prototyping, the development of the A1A00 body casting die of the foundry center and the real time pressure monitoring system of the crankshaft roller, won the first prize by characteristics such as innovativeness, practicability, good economic benefit and high popularization value; 11 projects, including the fixture using common internal grinders to process the inner cone of the extension shaft, the performance improvement and numerically-controlled modification of the diamond fine boring machine and adjusting the F3000 cylinder block processing line to FA100 cylinder blocks, won the second prize; and 20 projects, including the 6M internal cylinder brake detection equipment, modifying the import gun drill of the crankshaft line of the cold machining plant and increasing the qualification rate of the advance angle of assembly of the oil pump of 6M-AVL engine, won the third prize.
