The past five years saw a great number of catastrophic disasters, great tragedies, happy events and grant celebrations. Yuchai keenly experienced the rule of national prosperity boosts corporate growth-without the strong nation, without the strong enterprise. When snowstorms, Wenchuan earthquake and Zhouqu mud flow hit, Yuchai worshipped and respected nature; amid the serious global financial crisis, Yuchai knew how to deal with the crisis and turn the crisis into an opportunity; the Beijing Olympics fulfilled the centurial dream of Chinese people and motivated Yuchai to shoulder the heavy duty of invigorating the national industry; thanks to the two iconic historical starting points-standing up and becoming better-off- the grand celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China and the 30th anniversary of the reform and opening up, China has a say and gains respect in G20 today, Yuchais aspiration to be the largest mobile pollution source controller is exactly its best footnote; the success of the Shanghai Expo and Guangzhou Asian Games announced the advent of a flourishing age from a different perspective and witnessed another side of Chinas economic miracle.
Yuchai is a miracle creator. In terms of figures, we have recreated a new Yuchai twice the size of the one at the end of the tenth five-year period, such a height is not only a figure, but also the collective wisdom of Yuchai, the result of painstaking efforts and the effect of the new development road. In terms of concept, Green Development & Harmony Win-win is the core concept reestablished by Yuchai in the new period, which guided Yuchai in opening up a road of green, excellence, harmony and win-win, and is thus of general demonstrative significance. We will keep practicing, exploring the essence of the concept, enriching it and making it brilliant. In terms of teams, Yuchai built a high-caliber cadre team, high-performance management team and creative labor group, established the objective of building three-dimensional, professional and international talent teams, and thus developed distinctive and tough teams. The technical team, marketing team, management team, production team, technician team and service team have all displayed their strong vitality and creativity on the great stage of Yuchai. No best, only better, team pursuit and corporate pursuit combine, personal value and corporate value integrate, such teams are the most precious wealth of enterprises and the capital for corporate development.
