Yuchai yielded a bumper harvest in 2010: annual sales venues of RMB 36.8 billion, engine sales of 749,671 units and construction machinery sales of 7237 units, up 35.45%, 11.13% and 57.26% year on year respectively. These are achievements made under the guidance of the business principle of continuing internal drills, securing objectives and gaining momentum as well as a perfect conclusion of Yuchais eleventh five-year plan, laying a solid foundation for achieving sales of RMB 100 billion under the twelfth five-year plan.

More encouragingly, this is the first time that Yuchai has ranked among the enterprises with annual sales of RMB 30 billion, hitting a new all-time high., Yuchai redoubled sales in five years compared with 2005, all sectors developed in parallel, of which construction machinery, energy chemical and logistics & auto trading increased sales by over 30% year on year, the industry and product structure was enhanced, and the groups core competitiveness was boosted.

The core enterprise Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) achieved engine sales of over 550,000 units, up 18% year on year. This is the first time that YM has achieved sales of over 500,000 units. During the eleventh five-year period, YMs total engine sales were up to 2.06 million units.
