On January 18, 2011, YC Service Council Conference was held in Xiamen, Li Tiansheng, general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM), Deputy General Manager Wu Qiwei, members of YC Service Council, representatives of Yuchais suppliers, executive leaders of YM, as well as heads of the quality department, technical department, sales department, financial department and other relevant departments were present. Gao Qiang, general manager of Yuchai Machinery Sales Co., Ltd., presided over the conference.
The conference stressed the importance of the unified one-stop services offered by the service outlets of the engine plant, and came up with the service objectives of YM in 2011-to build a professional service system to ensure annual production and sales of 1 million engines.

At the conference, council members from around the country had discussions on such aspects as Yuchais service policies, marketing and service system management.
Li said that Yuchais service policies would be more preferential and flexible and Yuchai would cement communication with service outlets in 2011, hoping that the council members would offer as many opinions as possible. He added that efforts should be made next to examine and evaluate service outlets to sharpen their service edges; to perfect the evaluation and management of service outlets; and to duly adjust the mode to the services of the engine plant.
At the conference, in accordance with the Articles of YC Service Council of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., upon election and voting, Li Tiansheng, Wu Qiwei, Gaoqiang and Zhang Ting were retained as chairman, vice chairman, secretary-general and other positions of the council; ten comrades, including Zhao Shengli of Dalad Banner Kaisheng Automobile Service Co., Ltd., were retained as executive council members; 42 comrades, including Yang Shoubin of Huaping Shunyi Automobile Service Co., Ltd., were retained as council members. Li presented letters of appointment to the executive members of the new council.
To fulfill the requirements of Yuchai for common objective, common concept, practical communication, coordinated operation, credit authorization, voluntary assumption, trust and support and joint assurance of YC Yuchai, YC service body and YC consortium, YC Supplier Federation (YSF) carried out a series of value-added activities for the service body. At the conference, YSF Chairman Fan Jiang solemnly presented the Product Use and Maintenance Guide to YC service body and the key service outlets to help them increase service standards.
After the conference, the council members and representatives of Yuchais suppliers visited Xiamen Yuchai Engine Co., Ltd.
