On the afternoon of January 22, headed by Cheng Daoran, general manager of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co., Ltd. (DFLZM) and Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager Qin Liuming, a party of 21 paid a New Year visit to Yuchai, sending the best wishes of all the staff of DFLZM. Led by Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, the executive level and marketing team warmly welcomed the good and old friends from DFLZM.

On arrival, Cheng met with Chairman Yan, General Manager Li Tiansheng, Executive Deputy General Manager Wu Qiwei and other executives of Yuchai, reviewing the past, exchanging ideas and looking into the New Year.

Following the meeting, DFLZM and Yuchai held New Year Get-together 2011 at Yulin Hotel. Cheng made an ebullient speech, saying that the two companies were in good partnership and would cement relations in the future, extending thanks to Yuchai, and wishing all the staff of Yuchai a happy New Year and family.

Yan said that the two companies had kept on with the activity for years, laying a solid foundation for the cooperation between the two sides. DFLZM and Dongfeng are most trustworthy and reliable for Yuchai and have given Yuchai the greatest support, and Yuchai would treasure the hard-won friendship to offer quality products and services. He wished the two enterprises greater successes and health.

In 2010, DFLZM grew rapidly, with the annual sales revenues topping RMB 10 billion for the first time; Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. also hit a new high, with the engine sales volume topping 550,000 units and the sales revenues topping RMB 16.96 billion. In 2011, the two enterprises will aim high and cement strategic relations for a full victory in the opening year of the twelfth five-year period.
