On the afternoon of January 28, Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) held Marketing Work Conference 2011 at Yuchai Cultural Center. Corporate leaders such as General Manager Li Tiansheng, Party Secretary Liang Ping, Executive Deputy General Manager Wu Qiwei, Chief Accountant Qin Xiaohong, Chairman Assistant Yan Jie, Trade Union Chairman Rao Yingxian, all the staff and resident accountants of the sales company, overseas marketing department and monopoly company were present.
Wu presided over the conference, briefed the attendees on the companys marketing performance in 2010 and thanked the marketing team for their diligent efforts. Gao Qiang, general manager of the sales company, gave a marketing report, analyzing the sales performance of all sectors and domestic offices as well as the major performance of customer services, and predicting the sales market in 2011. Aiming at the sales task of ensuring sales of 600,000 engines and challenging 680,000 in 2011, he mapped out the marketing strategy for 2011. Cui Huabiao, general manager of the overseas marketing department, gave an overseas marketing report, summing up the work in 2010, analyzing industrial exports in 2010, and deploying the overseas sales work in 2011. Chen Qixian, general manager of the monopoly company, summed up the parts and service support work, reflected on deficiencies in the monopoly work in 2010, and came up with the work idea for 2011.

Li took three bows to the credible, combative and respected sales staff of Yuchai, extending heartfelt thanks on behalf of the company. He said the sales performance in 2010 was brilliant, and hoped that the marketing staff would reach consensuses on objectives and consolidate confidence, seek market opportunities and conquer difficulties, conduct elaborate planning and communicate with leaders, make good use of resources and work meticulously and steadily, and value teams and treasure health in 2011.
Liang extended heartfelt thanks to all the sales staff and their relatives, saying that the Party committee would, in collaboration with the general Party branch of the monopoly company, offer good services by further perfecting the mechanism for fast collection of and feedback on the thoughts of resident staff, further perfecting the mechanism for fast handling of difficulties of resident staff, normally doing something concrete for staff and forming a mechanism for staff care. Also, the Party committee would continue to send visit groups and publicity groups to various offices to resolve problems and difficulties for sales staff. At the same time, Liang hoped that the Party-mass organization of the monopoly company would serve staff more comprehensively, deeply and steadily and make the utmost efforts to solve the practical problems of resident staff and escort sales work.
At the conference, Jiang Dongming, director of Hubei Office; He Xiangren, director of Qinghai Office; Tang Haidong, director of Vietnam Office; Feng Wu, manager of Guangzhou Tongju Trade Co., Ltd. delivered speeches, summing up the work of respective sectors. Facing the sales tasks in 2011, the speakers said under the leadership and support of corporate leaders, they were confident of heading teams to fight in engine market and accomplish marketing objectives to offer generous gifts to the 60th anniversary of the founding of Yuchai.
