In 2010, creating pioneering units and golden workers is a major campaign to build the new work brand of the trade union. At the beginning of the year, the Trade Union of Yuchai Group required that all trade unions should work out plans based on their actualities and advance the campaign in a planned and systematic manner. Through the vigorous efforts of all units, great effects have been achieved. Upon recommendation by all units, 19 groups, offices and departments entered for pioneering units and 26 individuals for golden workers. Upon review by the relevant staff organized by the group trade union, 12 groups, offices and departments were honored as pioneering units and 11 individuals as golden workers. The group trade union is scheduled to commend these prizewinning units and individuals on Yuchai Worker and Staff Congress on February 26.
The 12 prizewinning units include the delivery group of the second engine plant of the quality department, the new product group of the quality department, the bench work group of the third section of the technological equipment plant, the electric control engineering department of the engineering research institute, the lubricating and cooling system group of the engineering research institute, the equipment management division of the first engine plant, the first cylinder cover group of the second engine plant, the third commissioning group of the second engine plant, the new forging core making & assembly and drilling group of the foundry, the core making electromechanical maintenance group of the first workshop of the foundry, the first body group of the heavy engine section of the cold machining plant and the second group of Line 08 of the first body section of the cold machining plant.
The 11 prizewinning individuals include Chen Kai, Li Yilong, Zhang Xuebin, Liu Wenyuan, Huang Guangyi, Chen Qixian, Xie Chang, Zhou Shikai, Xuan Yi, Yang Wanye and Dang Weizhi.
The campaign is aimed at guiding the staff in being accomplished on their posts, encouraging them to learn new knowledge and master new techniques and skills, raising their sense of innovation and increasing their innovation ability, building high-caliber cadre teams, high-performance management teams and creative labor groups, creating a corporate talent force, and achieving a new leap and success for the company.
