ASEAN is the earliest overseas market of Yuchai. Yuchais diesel engines were exported to Vietnam from the 1960s and the quantity of Yuchai machinery owned in ASEAN has topped 50,000 units to date, which has gained deep trust from all the ASEAN states. Recently, the chairman of an Indonesia bus company visited Yuchai, leaders such as Cui Huabiao, general manager of the Overseas Marketing Department of Yuchai, received the visitor warmly.

As a diesel engine manufacturer with the widest service network at home, Yuchai has established 45 offices, including 13 overseas ones. Of the 13 overseas offices, five are in ASEAN states, and the number of ASEAN sales agents and that of service outlets has reached 30 and approached 100 respectively, accounting for 50% of the sales agents of Yuchai in the world. Besides, Yuchai input 50% of the budget for overseas brand building in the ASEAN market.

Cui introduced Yuchais sales and product performance in recent years. The customer said that Yuchai machinery enjoyed great popularity in the ASEAN market and he had acquired a good knowledge of Yuchais products through the visit and would place an order. He stressed that he had full confidence in Yuchais products, would cement cooperation with Yuchai and equip all the vehicles imported from China with Yuchai engines.
