At the just-concluded Fourth Plenary Session of the Third Yulin Federation of Trade Unions, the Trade Union of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) ranked among Yulins Top 10 Non-public Enterprise Trade Unions and was commended ceremoniously. Chairman Rao Yingxian was present and received the award.
In recent years, the Trade Union of YM has made prominent achievements in ranking itself among Yulins Top 10 Non-public Enterprise Trade Unions. With the aim of establishing harmonious labor relations, YM signed labor contracts with the staff, and concluded collective contracts and special collective contracts with female staff through equal consultation. With collective contract performance as the major penetrating point of advancing the construction of a harmonious Yuchai, YM conducted a survey every six months. Also it fulfilled matters such as labor protection appliances, working environment, living environment, food quality and arena in forms such as self-inspection by grass-roots units, talks with staff representative, investigation and study, inspection of representatives of both parties of collective contracts, and consultation.
YM holds a workers congress every year. The congress deliberates on all the matters within the scope of its functions and powers in accordance with law, such as corporate annual business objectives and financial budgeting and final accounting, appraises leading cadres, follows up congress proposals, and organizes the three supervisory committees of the congress to carry out supervision regularly to safeguard the lawful rights and interests of the staff at the source.
t the same time, YM established the plant affair disclosure leadership group and a plant affair disclosure office under it to disclose plant affairs throughout the company, and established the plant affair disclosure supervision group to ensure the fulfillment of plant affair disclosure and the authenticity of disclosed information. With plant affair disclosure as the carrier, YM duly discloses the matters concerning the immediate interests of the staff such as labor personnel and income distribution to accept the supervision from the staff.
YM comprehensively implements all the policies for living security and labor protection, cares about the staff, serves the staff affectionately, safeguards the lawful rights and interests of the staff, and creates harmonious, safe and healthy working and living conditions for the staff, thus winning great praise from the staff.
