On the afternoon of March 7, Yuchai held a seminar on the meeting room on the third floor of Yuchai Culture Center in celebration of the 101st International Working Womens Day.

Leaders such as Zhang Jiasha, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai; Rao Yingxian, chairman of the Trade Union of Yuchai; Liang Ping and Guan Min, member of the Party Committee of Yuchai and Meng Xiuhua, assistant to chairman of the Trade Union of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., together with Yuchais women pacesetters, representatives of civilized families, advanced women cadres and directors of women workers committees at all levels were present. Guo Shijuan, director of the Women Workers Committee of Yuchai, presided over the seminar.

On behalf of Yuchai, Zhang extended the warm greetings of the holiday to Yuchais women workers and heartfelt thanks to them for their diligent work. Zhang said, This year is the opening year of the twelfth five-year period and one of the groups grand business objectives is to achieve sales of over RMB 40 billion. The leap from RMB 30 billion to RMB 40 billion is tough, none may slack off. Hopefully, all women workers should study and work hard, continue to create five-merit families, and give full play their role as half of the sky in the harmonious and leapfrog development of the group; and women workers committees at all levels should try all means to arouse the work enthusiasm of women workers, motivate them to be devoted to Yuchais development cause and better serve the production operation of the enterprise.

Women pacesetters such as Mo Yulang, Cai Xiaowei, Tan Shaomin, Li Binli and Ning Yaolin voiced their thoughts, expressed gratitude to the company, leaders and colleagues, and undertook to work more enthusiastically and keep improve themselves in future work to make due contributions to Yuchais fast growth.

Rao, Liang and Meng shared their work and life experience on mens and womens positions, striking a chord with the women workers. Also, they pinned ardent hope on women workers.

The representatives of civilized families shared their experience in creating harmonious families, too.

The attending leaders presented awards to the civilized families and advanced women cadres in 2010, and had a group photo with them.

For consecutive days, the Women Workers Committee of Yuchai have carried out commemorative, publicity and education, and visiting activities to motivate all women workers to work more enthusiastically.
