On March 6, Yuchai Cup ten-city bus enterprise service contest, themed by contending for excellence, creating civilized units, was launched in Tianjin. Wu Qiwei, acting general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM); Zhong Yuwei, deputy general manager of YM; Wang Limin, deputy general manager of Yuchai Sales Co., Ltd.; and other leaders were present. Wu delivered an address entitled For Common Progress and Development.

The event was initiated by Tianjin Bus Group, will last from March to late October, and attracted bus enterprises from 10 cities such as Beijing and Tianjin. The organizer has worked out the elaborate contest plan, steps and specific assessment system. The contest involves competitions in seven aspects-Party spirit and excellence, operation and transport quality, safety and stability, service and quality, tidiness and image, consumption reduction and environmental protection, and station order and support.

Yuchai aims to better fulfill its social responsibility for the bus industry through the event, join hands with bus enterprises in ten cities for common progress and development, and push ahead with the event.
