Upon a democratic election by Yuchais worker representatives and trade union committees, approval by Yulin Federation of Trade Unions, on March 10, Liang Ping was elected as chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. and chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. Rao Yingxian, former chairman of the trade unions of the two companies, worked as chairman consultant.

Newly-elected Liang thanked members of the Party organization and trade unions for their support and trust, saying that the position is a challenge and responsibility for her. In the future, she will continue to carry forward the fine tradition of the trade unions, make innovation, work steadily, lead the trade unions wholeheartedly, build the great family of workers, earnestly help workers solve the most direct and realistic problems concerning their interests, try to be an outstanding manager and live up to the expectations from the Party committee and members of the trade unions.
