On the morning of March 19, 2011, the 10th China (Tianjin) International Bus and Parts Exhibition (CTIB) opened at Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. 67 new bus models from 22 domestic and overseas enterprises appeared at the exhibition. Zhong Yuwei, deputy general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., attended and addressed the ceremony and the twelfth five-year bus summit forum.

The exhibition was jointly organized by China Urban Public Transport Association (CUPTA), the Urban Vehicle Expert Committee of the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, China Tourism Automobile & Cruise Association and the Science and Technology Sub-association of CUPTA. 17 of the 22 bus exhibitors were equipped with Yuchai engines. Of the 67 buses on display, 44, 10 and 8 were equipped with diesel engines, hybrid engines, gas engines, and 5 were electric ones. 30 exhibits were equipped with Yuchai engines, accounting for 45%, including 23 with diesel engines, 5 with hybrid engines and 2 with gas engines, enjoying an overwhelming superiority among all exhibits.

29 engines were on show, including 8 from Yuchai, 7 from Weichai, 5 from Shangchai, 4 from Xichai, 3 from Chaochai and 2 from Cummins.
Tianjin Bus Group (Holding) Co., Ltd., bus enterprises in cities like Hangzhou, Jinan, Kunming and Ningbo as well as several engine manufacturers participated in the exhibition and invited bidding for 313 buses, all of which were equipped with Yuchai engines.
