On the afternoon of April 9, Yang Jingnong, deputy secretary of the CPC Wuhu Municipal Committee and mayor of Wuhu; Zhao Xinqun, first deputy mayor of Wuhyu; Ding Zurong, secretary-general of the Wuhu Municipal Government and other municipal leaders headed to the workshop of Yuchai United Power Co., Ltd. (YUP) to survey the support of municipal governments at all levels to the companys construction and production operation, the companys production operation in the first quarter, and to inquire into the problems to be solved under government coordination.

Liang briefed the visitors on the characteristics of the machining line and assembling & commissioning line and the production in the first quarter. We are supposed to learn the knowledge of 6K engine, seeing the cylinder bodies and covers in processing as well as engines being packaged for delivery, Yang enthusiastically inquired about the structural characteristics of engines and every parts, noting that government departments at all levels should serve enterprises voluntarily and better to speed up the process of urbanization.

According to the source, since March, YUP has commenced manufacturing engines in small batches based on orders. In the first quarter, it delivered 600 engines including YC6K10 to C&C Trucks.
