On April 6, Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, headed to CSR Yuchai Sichuan Engine Co., Ltd. (CYSE) for work inspection and instruction. At CYSE, he noted that the new company should step up the construction and cultivation of a fine corporate culture and establish advanced management modes and work processes to promote the healthy and fast development of the company.

In the morning, accompanied by member of CYSEs leading body, Yan visited the manufacturing site of medium-speed engines, inquired about equipment, personnel, capacity and tasks of all production lines, and was briefed by CYSE Chairman Zhang Zhengqing on such aspects as market development, product R & D, technical renovation and quality control.

Yan stressed that the new company should, in accordance with Yuchais standards, construct and improve the management system and operation mechanism and define work and business systems and processes as soon as possible; should tighten quality control and deal with quality problems without tolerance, and permanently maintain the favorable brand image of Yuchai; should work out scientific and elaborate development plans, and focus on cultivating a fine corporate culture and a good work style, introduce Yuchais corporate culture to develop a good work style among leading cadres and staff, and pool efforts to boost the development of the new company.

Yan hoped that all the cadres and staff would change concept, unify ideas, define responsibilities, take overall situation into account, correctly comprehend and shoulder the mission of the new company to build it into an outstanding enterprise.

Also, Li Hanyang, chief engineer of Yuchai Group; Wang Hong, chief accountant of Yuchai Group; Qin Xiaohong, chief accountant of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) and Wang Wei, chief economic engineer of YM exchanged ideas with the corresponding departments of CYSE on work such as corporate management, financial management, technical management and human resource management.
