On the morning of April 13, led by Yang Daoxi, vice chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, leaders of departments such as the Industry and Information Technology Commission, Transportation Department and Industry Office of Guangxi, as well as China Development Bank, Guangxi Branch headed to Yuchai Industry Park and Yuchai Group for a survey on matters such as the objective of RMB 100 billion. During the survey, Yang stressed that relevant departments of Guangxi and Yulin should go all out to ensure the fast growth of Yuchai and accomplish the objective of RMB 100 billion.

Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, briefed the visitors on Yuchais twelfth five-year plan, saying Yuchai aimed to build two product chains and several industry clusters in the twelfth five-year period. Guided by the chains, based on the clusters and supported by projects, Yuchai will endeavor to achieve sales of over RMB 100 billion by the end of the period. During development, Yuchai will highlight strategic bottlenecks such as talent, land and environmental treatment, of which land is fundamental, and will earnestly request the autonomous region and municipal governments to coordinate and solve these problems.

After being briefed by Yuchai, Yang spoke highly of Yuchais achievements in the eleventh five-year period, recognized the idea and positioning of Yuchais twelfth five-year plan as correct, and exchanged ideas with leaders of the municipal government and relevant municipal departments on the bottlenecks reported by Yuchai.

Yang noted that Yuchai is a key enterprise in Yulin and Guangxi. The land planning of Yuchai Industry Park should meet Yuchais need for development in Yulin. Yuchai belongs not only to Yulin, but also to Guangxi, China and the world. Such an enterprise should be constructed in accordance with the standards of modern enterprises. Relevant government departments should coordinate Yuchais energy supplies such as gas supply, water supply and heating, and all conditions should meet Yuchais development need. Planning of the external channel for such an enterprise and park with annual sales of over RMB 100 billion should be improved, and complete network platforms integrating industrialization with informatization should be established throughout the park.

Yang further stressed that industrial development should focus on the development of leading and key enterprises and give full play to the driving role of leading enterprises. Relevant departments of Guangxi and Yulin should, under the guidance of the concept, go all out to ensure the fast growth of Yuchai and accomplish the objective of RMB 100 billion.

Yang noted that the survey deepened his understanding of Yuchai Industry Park and Yuchai, and defined the work requirements and ideas for achieving the objective of RMB 100 billion. Next, the autonomous region and municipal governments will establish the leadership mechanism and work mechanism for coordinating and serving all the work of the enterprise, coordinating and solving various problems and difficulties arising in corporate development to jointly achieve the objective of RMB 100 billion. After May Day, the Party committee and government of the autonomous region will hold a spot meeting at Yuchai to solve relevant problems of its 100-billion development plan.

Xuan Jiajun, deputy mayor of Yuchai, said the municipal government would attach great importance to and hold a meeting on the problems of development of Yuchai Industry Park, especially the bottlenecks reported by Yuchai, in the lead up to the spot meeting.

During the survey, municipal leaders such as Xuan and leaders of relevant municipal governments, as well as Yuchais leaders such as Chairman Yan, President Gu Tangsheng and Vice President Xie Yuqiang showed Yang around Yuchai Foundry Center and Yuchai Monopoly Company at Yuchai Industry Park.
