On the afternoon of April 23, the signing ceremony for the agreement on strategic cooperation between Yuchai Group and Bank of China (BOC), Guangxi Branch was held at Yulin Hotel, marking the two sides would carry out deeper cooperation in more financial fields. The conclusion of the agreement opened a new chapter of financial cooperation between Yuchai and BOC.

Municipal leaders such as Liu Zifu, deputy secretary of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee and Jiang Guicheng, vice mayor of Yulin, together with leaders of BOC Guangxi Branch, Changzhou Branch, Luzhou Branch, Zhuhai Branch and Wuqing Sub-branch were present. Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group and Yang Zhanpeng, president of BOC Guangxi Branch concluded the agreement. Wu Qiwei, Zhang Shiyong, Wang Hong and Qin Xiaohong, as well as leaders of subsidiaries of Yuchai witnessed the ceremony.

Liu Zifu delivered a speech, extending heartfelt thanks to the cooperation between Yuchai and BOC, saying Yulins development is inseparable from strong support from the financial and corporate circles, hoping the circles would further unify thoughts and cement cooperation to make positive contributions to a new leap in peoples affluence and city prosperity.

In recent years, Yuchai has actively established close partnerships with large financial institutions such as BOC, promoted the development of enterprises and financial industry, yielded substantial economic benefit and boosted local economic development. Yan noted Yuchai had completed domestic industry layout and all industry sectors had grown vigorously, laying a solid foundation for achieving the objective of building an enterprise with annual sales of RMB 100 billion in the twelfth five-year period. To accomplish fast and healthy development, Yuchai needs to cooperate with financial institutions with complete and high-efficiency service networks and tremendous strength like BOC.

Yang was full of expectation of the cooperation, saying Yuchai may be rated as a model in Chinas national industry. In recent years, Yuchai has been marching towards a large multinational group and the cooperation has a bright prospect. BOC Guangxi Branch will cement and deepen cooperation with Yuchai for a new leap.
