From April 17 to 21, the 3rd Haiyangwang National Competition on QC Achievement Release was held in Haikou. Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) fielded four groups for the competition.

Through five days intensive competition, Reducing the Unbalance Rate of Quota Hours between Work Sections, an entry from YHIs QC group, won the first prize. Besides, Reducing the Welding Time of Swing Arm of YC230 Excavator, Method of Studying NC Machining of Tapped Hole of YC230 Excavator Platform and Reducing Adjustment Defects of Travelling Joystick of Hydraulic Excavator won the second prize.

535 QC members participated in the competition with 192 entries, most ever.

It was the first time that YHI had participated in such a national competition on QC achievement release. The brilliant results are attributable to YHIs permanent attention to QC activities and mark YHIs level of QC activities have come to a new stage.
