On April 22, good news came from the 1st Enterprises Man Seminar on Construction of Chinese Outstanding Corporate Publications in Beijing that Yuchai Constructors and Yuchai won the gold award for outstanding Chinese corporate publication (newspaper) and the silver award for outstanding Chinese corporate publications (magazine) respectively. Leng Song, secretary-general of the Research Center for World Media, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and doctor of Communication University of China in radio and television art, presented the gold award to Yuchai Constructors.

Founded in 1987, Yuchai Constructors is the internal publication of Yuchai Constructors. In recent years, the publication has kept making innovation and improvement, giving full play to the role of corporate publicity window. In the national selection of outstanding achievements of corporate publications, Yuchai Constructors has won the national special award for outstanding corporate publications for consecutive years. It is younger than Yuchai Constructors and Yuchai. Founded in June 2010, Yuchai is a bimonthly as well as a milestone in Yuchais corporate culture building.

Upon selection by experts organized by the Center for Human Resource Research, CASS, 200 corporate publications including Yuchai Constructors and Yuchai entered the 1st Enterprises Man University Exhibition on Construction of Chinese Outstanding Corporate Publications. From April 9 to 10, the exhibition was held at Tongfang Building in Tsinghua University, winning strong support from 18 universities such as Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China and University of Science and Technology Beijing, gaining popularity among students and recognition from all walks of life. The selection is based on a satisfaction survey of readers from the 18 universities on the scene of the exhibition. The award going to Yuchai Constructors is the highest award of the event, and only ten publications such as Shougang Daily, Beijing Hyundai News and CTMC News shared the award. The event presented ten gold awards for outstanding newspapers and magazines, 15 sliver awards for outstanding newspapers and 12 sliver awards for outstanding magazines. Tang Ning, chief editor of Yuchai Constructors, attended the seminar on construction of Chinese outstanding corporate publications, sharing experience with her outstanding counterparts.
