May Day is around the corner. On April 27, Yuchai held a model symposium to bring together representatives of corporate models to celebrate May Day. Li Tiansheng, vice chairman of Yuchai Group; Zhang Jiasha, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group; Wang Wei, chief economic engineer of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd.; Liang Ping, chairman of the Trade Union of Yuchai Group and other leaders, Yuchais advanced representatives winning municipal honors or above, Yuchais model workers and women pacesetters in 2010, as well as chief skill masters got together.

At the symposium, Li read the list of Yuchais workers winning May 1 labor medal and pioneering titles at all levels in Guangxi, including Wu Qiwei, winner of the national May 1 labor medal, Chen Qiuping, Lin Yongxian and Mo Yulang, winners of Guangxi May 1 labor medal, as well as the second team of Line 08 of the body section of the cold machining plant, winner of Guangxis pioneering unit.

Zhang Jiasha, wished all constructors a happy holiday on behalf of Chairman Yan and the leading body, saying, Yuchai achieved sales of RMB 36.8 billion in 2010, tripling sales in the eleventh five-year period, these remarkable achievements are attributable to the unity and collaborative efforts of all the constructors of Yuchai. Despite different posts, models have made outstanding contributions to Yuchai with their wisdom and efforts, set a good example for Yuchais workers, and motivated all the staff to learn and compete, thus creating a favorable corporate atmosphere. Hopefully, all model representatives will continue to maintain the spirit of reform, innovation and pioneering to achieve new success in achieving Yuchais objective for the twelfth five-year period!

At the symposium, the model representatives had heated discussion, thanking the company for having created a growth platform and exchanging ideas on how they will make due contributions to the accomplishment of the companys business objective this year.

Chen Jinyuan, chairman of Yuchai Technicians Association, took an oath that all technicians should make great efforts to increase the quality and production capacity of heavy engines! Pang Jiayong, model worker of Guangxi and chief skill master, called for every worker to start from their posts to achieve the objective of increasing quality by 50%! Zhao Guoqin, corporate model worker and manager of the foundry, pledged to lead all the staff in overcoming difficulties and helping the company achieve the annual business objective. Mo Yulang, who has just won Guangxi May 1 labor medal, thanked the company for creating a broad stage for common staff like her, making her feel the great human care and rich cultural atmosphere of Yuchai, undertaking to make greater efforts to repay the company.
