On the night of April 28, at Yuchai Culture Center, the Trade Union, League Committee and Vocal Music Association of Yuchai Group held a music salon themed by "appreciating Music, Tasting Life, Searching the Most Beautiful Rhythm". Leaders such as Zhang Jiasha, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group; Liang Ping, chairman of the trade unions of Yuchai Group and Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. and He Xiaoyu, director of the Publicity Department of Yuchai Group, together hundreds of spectators, attended the salon.

The salon was one of the groups events in celebration of "May Day". To cultivate the staff's enthusiasm about and appreciation of elegant music and increase their cultural accomplishments, the salon combined classics appreciation and live performance, presenting spectators with an audio-visual feast involving classics such as Ode to Joy by Beethoven, Hotel California by the Eagles, My Heart Will Go On, the theme song of Titanic and The Butterfly Lovers, a Chinese violin concerto.

Piano piece Chopin, Waltz in C Sharp Minor. Op. 64, No. 2, violin piece Road to Paradise, saxophone piece Harlem Nocturne and Guitar solo Moonlight Duet by teachers of Yulin Normal University intoxicated spectators.

Classics were staged all the time, arousing bursts of applause from spectators.
