Yuchai bus brand selection warms up

After the first wave of voting, Yuchai bus brand selection continued to progress in the bus transport industry in Zhejiang, arousing the permanent enthusiasm of practitioners.

On April 22, the drive group of an enterprise assigned a representative to deliver a dozen tickets to the office of the organizing committee. Though we do not drive buses now, we know buses a bit. As some of us started as long-distance drivers, we feel quite familiar with the event as if it were organized by us, the driver speaking in condition of anonymity told the staff of the organizing committee, adding, Everybody is concerned about cars, however buses contain more knowledge, is closer to peoples life and needs more attention.

Compared with the driver traveling dozens of kilometers to deliver tickets. A bus transport practitioner from Taizhou regarded members of the organizing committee as his friends. He wrote to describe deficiencies in the after-sale services of a bus brand in recent two years, hoping the organizing committee can directly report the information to the executive level of the bus brand.

Practitioners got involved, and passengers had the right to speak. At bus transport depots in areas such as Longyou and Taizhou, management staff even placed tickets in the ticket offices for completion by passengers with some knowledge of bus brands.

Though passengers were not so professional as practitioners in filling out tickets, but can reflect market demands more truthfully. For example, the organizing committees received some tickets in which passengers with little knowledge of bus brands offer constructive opinions on the practicality of some design details, Many high-grade buses have foot rest, but in some spacious ones, foot rest does not suit the body forms of common Chinese; seats are close in some buses, passengers are not relaxed if they put their foots on rest. It is advised that manufacturers design foot rest based on seat layout.

On April 25, Xiao, a worker in Quzhou from Wulin, Jiangxi, made a call to the organizing committee. He filled out a ticket when he passed by Quzhou, but was afraid that the organizing committee would not receive it, so he made the special call the next day.

I have dealt in buses before and have something to talk to you, Xiao came straight to the point in the call, I suffered a lot from the bus brand of which I acted as an agent. Due to the manufacturers inferior customer services, I could only conduct few businesses and made a great loss despite painstaking efforts for more than two years. I participated in the selection in order to make good brands more popular and salable, make the industry standard and make everyone to earn money happily.

Active part in voting at Xincheng Station

At around 3 p.m. April 27, on Xincheng Boulevard, Wenzhou, Xincheng Station is crowded with voters. Please give me a ticket, thank you, I have completed the ticket, what shall I do next?Yuchai bus brand selection in Wenzhou was ongoing. Within only more than an hour, over 100 passengers completed tickets.

Relevant persons in charge of the organizers Zhejiang Road Transport Association (ZRTA) and Transport and Travel Herald were also present. Guo Liang, secretary-general of ZRTA, said, a major purpose of the event is to create a favorable atmosphere to enhance the societys recognition of Zhejiangs bus transport industry; and the other purpose is to help bus transport enterprises and bus manufacturers collect customers demand information and boost the service standards of Zhejiangs bus transport industry.

Xiao Li, a graduate from Hangzhou, is seeking opportunities in Wenzhou in spare time. He told the reporter, The Young Man bus I took here is good overall. Now, Zhejiangs long-distance buses are comfortable and safe with good services standards. However, short & medium-distance buses remain poor in some places. Hopefully, improvements will be made in this respect. Mr. Zheng, a businessman in Wenzhou from Henan, voiced his opinion on bus brands, I took a Yutong bus from Wenzhou to Zhoukou, Henan and it took 11 hours to travel on a highway. The bus is in good conditions and I dont feel tired.

Changshun Express Bus Transport Co., Ltd. (CSEBT) under Wenzhou Changyun Group, which undertook the event, attached great importance to the selection. He not only listened to passengers opinions, but also organized over 40 drivers and maintainers for the event. These front-line experts voices their opinions and suggestions.

Jin Mengjie, general manager of CSEBT, granted an interview after the event, saying, Through such selection, we bus transport enterprises will have more choices of buses, and can report existing problems in time to manufacturers through effective channels. More directly, passengers opinions on vehicle use will play a significant role in enhancing our services.

Flexible ticket completion

Enterprises under Taiyun Group filled out 1,000 tickets. The group offered strong support to the event. According to Qiang Shuili, person in charge of the Department of Safe Maintenance, the event has issued 1,000 tickets to Linhai Long-distance Bus Transport Co., Ltd., Linhai Public Transport Co., Ltd. and Duqiao Bus Transport Co., Ltd. Practitioners and passenger can take the opportunity to speak with freedom and voice their opinions on bus brands.

Changda delivered tickets to drivers. On the morning of April 28, the staff of the office of Zhejiang Changda Transportation Co., Ltd. delivered tickets for Yuchai bus brand selection to the frontline of bus transport. Learning that it is a bus brand selection, drivers, who deals with buses every day, came out of cabs. After-sale services are yet to be improved. Large brands are better. They discussed during completing tickets.

Golden Leopard assigns a person in charge of selection. On April 21, Zhejiang Golden Leopard Transport Co., Ltd. (ZGLT) organized a seminar and mobilized drivers and maintenance staff to complete over 300 tickets. To make the event more real and effective, ZGLTs leading body attached great importance. Jin Yang, deputy Party secretary and deputy general manager of ZGLT, was in full charge of the event. He hung a banner reading Safe Passenger Vehicles-Participate in Yuchai Bus Brand Selection at the entrance to the waiting room, organized relevant staff of functional departments such as safety, maintenance and security, as well as branches such as the passenger transport company, bus company, long-distance transport company and repair plant for a conference on selection deployment. 

Yuchai sponsored the event, unconsciously implanted its brand into the hearts of staff and passengers of bus transport enterprises, learned Yuchais regional advantages and disadvantages among bus transport enterprises through the questionnaire, and made effective adjustments to the market.
