On the morning of May 14, Chen Xuan, general manager of Changzhou Huanghai Automobile Co., Ltd. (CHA); Sun Jinghua, deputy general manager of Qingdao Jiaoyun Group; Wang Xiaoqing, manager of CNHTC Jinan Haowo Bus Marketing Co., Ltd. and expert Li Zhulin visited Yuchai, inspecting the situation of Yuchais bus engine R & D and the condition of manufacturing equipment, and exchanging ideas with Yuchais relevant staff on new energy applications of bus engines and other matters.

Hu Guoqi, deputy chief engineer of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. and Wang Limin, deputy general manager of Yuchai Sales Co., Ltd. held talks with the guests. Hu briefed the guests on the supporting technology and development actualities of Yuchais bus engines, which the guests showed great interest in. Chen said, CHA, in answer to the nations call, meets customer demands and promotes the use of new energy engines. He learned that Yuchai actively applied new technologies and launched new two-stage supercharging bus engines, was interested in the products, and hoped to cement cooperation with Yuchai. Professor Li said, Qingdao is striving to rank among national pilot cities for new energy vehicles, and hopes to cooperate with Yuchai more comprehensively in natural gas and dual-fuel bus engines.

Before the talks, Wang showed the guests around Yuchais production line, showroom, etc. Professor Li inquired into the production and technical R & D of bus engines.
