According to the candidacy requirements for in-service masters in 2011, on May 28, over 120 qualified workers from all subsidiaries of Yuchai took the one-day test, which involved specialized courses and English.

To ensure the effects of the test, Yuchai Training Center and the Human Resources Department of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) made elaborate arrangements, invited professional teachers of universities to design papers based on the specialties of candidates, and kept confidential the content of papers, tightening test discipline to complete the test smoothly.

Education promotion is one of the supporting measures of the Staff Competence Improvement Program of YM. This year, YM will focus on running two classes at public expense--the mechanical engineering class of Guangxi University and vehicle engineering class of Hunan University, will recruit around 35 trainees for each class, and plans to run similar classes for three consecutive years to improve the knowledge level of the existing personnel and cultivate high-caliber, application-oriented and versatile technical and management professionals, thereby offering talent support for the accomplishment of the group's grand objective in the Twelfth Five-year Period.
