Universiade Shenzhen 2011 is scheduled to be hosted in Shenzhen in August 2011. With the event around the corner, Shenzhens three major public transport companies have successively updated eco-friendly buses with Yuchais bus engines as the top priority again.

Shenzhens public transport bus market has always been a complex market all bus plants and engine plants vie for. By brilliant performance for several years, Yuchai has won the bid for supplying engines to 1,026 of 1,616 buses of Shenzhen East Public Transport Co., Ltd., accounting for over 60%.

So for, the first batch of 117 buses with Yuchai National IV engines designed for the Universiade has been delivered for operation as a splendid view in Shenzhen.
