On May 30, the launch ceremony for the nationwide transregional summer mechanized harvesting of wheat in 2011 was held in Tongzhai, Tanghe, Nanyang, Henan Province, marking the commencement of the extensive transregional harvesting of wheat in the country. Han Changfu, minister of agriculture and Guo Gengmao, deputy secretary of the Henan Provincial Committee and governor of Henan Province were present and delivered speeches. Yang Jiabin, deputy director of the customer service center of Yuchai Sales Co., Ltd. and Huang Weibin, director of Henan Office headed a delegation consisting of representatives of service outlets in areas such as Nanyang, Zhoukou, Zhumadian and Zhengzhou for the ceremony.

As a large agricultural province in the country, Henan boasts a wheat planting area of over 7,800 mu, accounting for roughly one fourth of the total wheat planting area of the country. The province is expected to input over 100,000 combines this year, with a wheat mechanization level of over 95%.
Most agricultural machinery in Henan is equipped with Yuchai engines. To ensure the normal operations of Yuchai engines during the summer harvesting, under the unified organization of Yuchai service center, Yuchais service systems have made elaborate preparations in customer training, parts storage and service staffing. In Henan alone, Yuchai has organized over 40 service squads and over 100 service vehicles to offer 24-hour service support, and has stored over 3 million pieces of parts to effectively ensure the smooth progressing of the wheat harvesting. In waves of wheat and boom of machinery, Yuchai offered sincere and fast services, presenting a fine view.
Since early this March, Yuchai has conducted full-course planning and elaborate organization of wheat harvesting support. A total of 20 offices and 103 service outlets of Yuchai were involved in the wheat harvesting, which organized centralized pre-harvesting training for customers, inspected and maintained engines, solved possible harvesting problems earlier and intensified parts input to ensure the success of the harvesting.
