On June 7, accompanied by leaders of four leading bodies, including Wen Daqin, secretary of the Bobai County Committee and Li Jun, acting head of Bobai, Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, headed to the county seat of Bobai to investigate the construction of Yuchais supporting industry park and integration of vocational educational resources.

Located in Bobai East Industrial Zone, with an area of over 7,350 mu and a planned total investment of about RMB 7 billion, Yuchais supporting industry park will be constructed in three phases and integrate eight functions including manufacture, market, warehousing, commerce & residence, culture & education, financing, trading and ecology. Now, the construction of some standard plants and office buildings in the park is drawing to a close.

Integration of vocational educational resources is a vocational educational project jointly presented by Yuchai Education Investment Co., Ltd. and Bobai Vocational Secondary School (BVSS). The project will, in strict accordance with the requirements of the autonomous region for vocational education, based on Yuchais talent demand, carry out teaching activities and effectively integrate the educational resources of Yuchai Vocational Technical School and BVSS to provide talent guarantee for Yuchais development.

According to the source, the cooperative agreements on the two projects have been concluded at the signing ceremony for large investment projects in Bobai on the afternoon of May 6. Now, project preparation and construction is underway.

According to Yan, the settlement of Yuchais supporting industry park in Bobai East Industrial Zone is the demand of Yuchai for developing in the twelfth five-year period and for a longer period, as well as a strong support to the accomplishment of the objective of building an enterprise with annual sales of RMB 100 billion. The construction of Yuchais supporting industry park and integration of vocational educational resources must be incorporated into Yuchais development strategy and be planned elaborately, and fundamental work must be done well to offfer strong industrial support and talent support for Yuchais development in the twelfth five-year period.

Wen noted, the construction of Yuchais supporting industry park and integration of vocational educational resources are major breakthroughs of Bobai in implementing the 345 Plan for industrial development and enhancing the industry, which will have a positive and far-reaching impact on further adjusting and optimizing the industrial structure, promoting the transformation of the development mode and increasing the economic strength of the county; the county committee and government will strive to offer Yuchai favorable environment, quality services and preferential policies and join hands with Yuchai to promote the sound and fast development of Bobais economy and society and Yuchai.
