On June 15, the seminar on technical renovation of some domestic regions, jointly organized by the Research Office of the State Council and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was held in Shanghai, with the participation of departments of industry and information technology from seven provinces and municipalities including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Hunan and Guangxi. Wang Chunwei, inspector of the Commission of Industry and Information Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region headed a delegation to the seminar, and Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) was present as a corporate representative.

The seminar is aimed at debriefing the work experience of various areas and enterprises in technical renovation as well as their problems to be coordinated. An attendee from Yuchai introduced the companys work experience and achievements in technical renovation, made suggestions to the research group on granting appropriate incentives and preferential policies to Yuchais independently developed products and new energy products, exempting or reducing the corresponding taxes on the companys technical renovation, and giving priority to projects in the western and minority areas in respect of industry distribution and project approval, and strove for more favorable policies and subsidies for Yuchai.
