From June 11 to 17, the national energy conservation publicity week, themed by Energy Conservation Action, New Low Carbon Life, was jointly presented by 14 departments including the National Development and Reform Commission. To promote the concept of using energy rationally, increasing energy efficiency and reducing waste, and to further raise workers awareness of energy conservation, in light of actualities, Yuchai carried out the events of the national energy conservation publicity week comprehensively.

Yuchai hung slogans of energy conserving on Yuchais avenues, plants and living quarters; initiated the main practice highlighted by four ones (saving one drop of water, one kilowatt hour of electricity, one piece of paper and one grain of rice); motivated workers to raise the awareness of energy conservation and intensify the practice of energy conservation and emission reduction; organized plants and departments to participate in the quiz show organized by the production department; carried out the electronic blackboard bulletin contest themed by energy conservation and demonstrated all units achievements in technical innovation in energy conservation in recent years in plants.
