On the morning of June 16, the variety performance for urban retired cadres in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, jointly organized by the Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee and Yulin Culture Bureau, was staged at the peoples hall of the city. 13 county and city delegations participated in the event.

Flying the Flag High Forever, a program elaborately prepared by the art troupe of the ageing committee of Yuchai, appeared to catch eyes. The dance was ebullient, grand and distinctive, arousing bursts of applause from the audience, pushing the performance to a climax. Eventually, the ageing committee of Yuchai won the gold award, fully displaying the mental outlook of Yuchais retired staff.
