To increase the level of safety management of teams and groups and raise the safety awareness of all workers, Yuchai decided to carry out the Ankang safety contest for machinery manufacturers within the group from June to October. The contest is aimed at enhancing the safety management of teams and groups, comprehensively improving the overall quality of workers, earnestly practicing standardized operations and eliminating safety accidents of teams and groups.

The assessed items include establishing and improving responsibilities for safe production and regulations on safety technical operation, safety inspection and potential hazard rectification, safety activities, safety training, safety meetings, team & group accounting, featured safety content of teams and groups, etc. In case of any minor wound or above, the eligibility of the team or group involved will be cancelled.

Safety is a perquisite for the healthy development of an enterprise, because safe production concerns the life and property safety of workers and is the greatest benefit to workers. Teams and groups are cells of an enterprise as well as the foothold of the safe production work of an enterprise. The contest will further raise workers awareness of safety and sense of responsibility, promote the groups safety management work and ensure the steady, healthy and harmonious development of enterprises.
