In celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Party and the 60th anniversary of Yuchai, from June 14 to 16, Yuchai organized 1,000 persons, including representatives of workers, Party members, League members, retired workers and in-service workers with a service length of over 30 years each for a visit themed by Yuchai workers view Yuchai. In an address to the opening ceremony, Li said, the activity is aimed to make workers know the companys changes and strong capacity for equipment manufacture; to make workers know the achievements they have made through painstaking efforts over the years, share the encouraging achievements, feel proud and stay closer; to make workers know the companys market competitiveness and next development orientation and objectives, know they must make greater efforts to promote the better and faster development of the company, and make mental preparations, strengthen confidence and gain strength; and to hope workers consolidate confidence in the face of market crises and work difficulties, ensure product quality with work quality, sharpen corporate competitiveness and stay invincible in market competition.

Confidence is more valuable than gold. The Party committee and trade union of the company organized worker representatives to visit the enterprises products and plants, thus further arousing their sense of pride in the enterprise and boosting their morale.

Worker representatives successively visited modern plants, warehouses and laboratories of YM such as the cold machining plant, No. 1 engine plant, foundry center, parts monopoly company and engineering research institute, as well as Yuchai Huayuan Machinery (Yulin) Co., Ltd., YUP and Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI). Everyone was in high spirits, and marveled at the companys spacious and bright plants, park-type plant areas, advanced manufacturing equipment and standardized field management.

During the visit, Chen Fukun of Guangxi Jinchuang Automotive Parts Manufacturing Co, Ltd., said emotionally,As Jinchuang is far from Yuchais headquarters, I had few opportunities to visit the headquarters, and learned Yuchais development mostly from its publicity platform and staff. This time, I have an opportunity to personally visit various units, through which I have deepened my understanding of the companys development and become more confident of my future work and career development, and I have learned a lot.

Lu Fan, manager of the metalwork plant of YHI, joined Yuchai in 1998. She witnessed Yuchais fast growth over the past 15 years and has a deep affection for Yuchai, saying, Though I often went to various units for business association, exchange and learning and had a good knowledge of Yuchais development, I was always busy, in a hurry and not in the mood for visit. This time, I followed the 1,000-member delegation to visit Yuchai in person, I am so excited and confident of Yuchais development.

The visit lasted three days. Worker representatives, in four groups, visited plants and production lines, and watched the promotional video on Yuchais development over the past six decades and brilliant achievements in the eleventh five-year period at the cultural center. They comprehensively experienced Yuchais huge changes over the past six decades and were confident of Yuchais development in the twelfth five-year period.
