As a public student-aiding activity organized and implemented by the All-China Women's Federation and the China Children and Teenagers' Fund, the "Spring Bud Program" is aimed to aid dropout girls in poverty-stricken areas in returning to schools. Since its initiation in Yulin in 1995, the activity has received strong support from Yuchai Group. Since 2006, Yuchai has donated for the program every year and supported 500 destitute girls in Yulin. Over the past nine years, Yuchai has donated a total of over 2 million yuan for over 4,500 destitute girls involved in the program, showing its great affection for these girls.

In 2013, Yuchai renovated its action for the "Spring Bud Program" by establishing 22 support groups composed of 80 cadres and employees to give pairing support to 50 girls involved in the program. On behalf of Yuchai, they extended support to the girls' studies and life.

The support to the girls shows Yuchai's strong sense of social responsibility and its development concept of "Green Development & Harmony Win-win".
